I think you can. I called Virgin Mobile to confirm (number 1-888-322-1222) and tell you almost anything to what you know.

The long answer is technically yes, but Virgin Mobile phones will not allow other companies that are on your system without being activated by a technical reality (and in some cases illegal) phone hacking / modification of the techniques for modifying the "ESN serial number or address that you use to cell phones on CDMA networks Identifiy (without SIM card type).
